UCA students and teachers got acquainted with the progress of the EbA project implementation in Kyrgyzstan

08/05/2018 – Bash-Kaiyndy village, Kyrgyzstan.

Students and teachers of Naryn campus of the University Central Asia (UCA) went on a study tour to the pilot village of Bash-Kaiyndy and learned about the EbA project. UCA representatives visited Karatal demonstration site and a section of river Kaiynda, which are prone to coastal erosion. To prevent emergencies, a gabion-reinforced dam was built here. UCA students and teachers also visited fisheries, which is a promising tourism site in the village.
